The JV Wildcats set the tone early with a big hit by freshman Baylie Young on the kickoff forcing a fumble which the Wildcats came up with.  Tayler Sonnevil scored after the turnover.  On the next Gobles' possession, the Cats blocked the punt and Tayler Sonnevil again scored on that turnover going up 12-0 early.  Gobles scored in the 1st quarter to make it 12-6.  The scored stayed that way until late in the fourth when Carter Surach punched the ball in from the 2 yard line to make it 18-6 with less than 5 minutes to play.  The Wildcats gave up a long punt return which resulted in a quick score for the Tigers, but that's as close as they could get as the Cats played staunch defense the rest of the quarter.  

The guys showed a lot of heart going against a bigger (in size and numbers) team and played HARD all night long, refusing to lose.  They improve their record to 1-1 on the season.
